Bayern Munich are identifying areas for improvement in the squad as they will do business at the end of the season. They are content with the squad for this season, and the return of injured players will give a big boost to Vincent Kompany’s options for the second half of the campaign.

Bayern’s attack has been flying under Vincent Kompany this season. The attacking unit at Bayern is one of the best in Europe. The return of Jamal Musiala will add further quality to Die Roten’s play in the final third.

The record Bundesliga champions are looking to add more quality to their attack in the summer. According to Bild journalist Tobi Altschaffl (via iMiaSanMia), Bayern are looking to sign a young winger for the left side in the summer. Die Roten want a player who can deputise for Luis Diaz on the left flank.

Bayern have been heavily linked with FC Köln forward Saïd El Mala in the last few months. In the last few days, Bayern have been reported as one of the several big clubs showing interest in RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande. Both players are thriving in the Bundesliga, but they will be expensive transfers in the summer.

The Bavarian club has the right idea of looking for a young forward to deputise for Diaz. They may have to look for someone who is on the verge of bursting onto the scene instead of players like Saïd El Mala and Diomande. These two forwards will need assurances over game time, and they will be expensive.

Bayern also want to sign a young player in central midfield

Along with targeting a young forward, Bayern also want to add a young player in the center of the park. The Bavarian club is expected to part ways with Leon Goretzka in the summer and sign a young midfielder to replace the German international.

Tobi Altschaffl has reported that Bayern have been monitoring young midfielders like Nathan De Cat and Kennet Eichhorn for several months. One of these two players may end up becoming the long-term replacement of Goretzka.

After signing experienced players in Jonathan Tah, Luis Diaz, and Nicolas Jackson, Bayern are looking at young players for the next summer transfer window. This approach will ensure Die Roten will have a good mix of young and experienced players in the squad next season. Along with signing young talents, Bayern would also like to see players like Lennart Karl come through the academy and make a significant impact in the first team.
