Bayern Munich have been one of the best attacking teams in Europe this season. This feat has been achieved largely due to the good coaching of Vincent Kompany and the signing of Luis Diaz in the summer. Lennart Karl has broken into the first team and hit the ground running to give Bayern another lethal weapon in the attack.

Despite the exploits from Bayern forwards, the Bavarian club will have to sign one forward in the next summer transfer window. Nicolas Jackson will return to Chelsea as Bayern are currently not planning to sign him permanently. The Senegalese has scored five times for Bayern, but he needed more convincing output to convince Bayern about a permanent move.

Rekordmeister will have to replace Jackson in the squad next summer. They can either look at a backup striker who can deputise for Kane or a versatile wide player. Bayern have been linked with several attacking players over the past few months. It does look like they are also keeping a close eye on one exciting forward from RB Leipzig.

According to Sky Sports UK journalist Danyal Khan, Bayern are closely monitoring the development of RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande. Along with Die Roten, the Ivory Coast winger is also being followed by Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

Sky Sports is also reporting that RB Leipzig values the forward around €60-70 million instead of the rumoured €100 million. RB Leipzig are in a strong position to negotiate a big fee for the forward since his current contract expires in 2030.

Diomande has been in brilliant form for RB Leipzig this season. He has scored seven goals in 15 games across all competitions. The 19-year-old can play on either flank. His pace and trickery create problems for defenders in the final third. Considering Diomande has played in the Bundesliga, he may need very little time to hit the ground running at Bayern. The youngster would certainly be a good long-term signing for Rekordmeister.

Bayern will look to strengthen every outfield department of the squad in summer

Along with signing a replacement for Jackson, Bayern will also look to strengthen their defense and midfield during the summer transfer window.

Leon Goretzka is expected to leave as a free agent. The Bavarian club is looking at young midfield options to replace the 30-year-old midfielder. Meanwhile, defense will also need new faces since Sacha Boey, Raphael Guerreiro, and potentially Kim Min-jae will leave the club in the next six months.
