Bayern Munich have been entertaining fans this season by scoring goals at a consistent rate. The Bavarian club is enjoying a strong start to the season, courtesy of 11 wins across all competitions. Along with getting results, Bayern have shown dominance by playing an expansive style of football.
Harry Kane is leading from the front in the attack. The English forward has scored 19 goals for Die Roten across all competitions. He looks better from last season, which is remarkable since he chipped in with 55 goals and assists in 51 appearances last campaign. Kane already has 22 goals and assists in 11 games across all competitions.
Along with scoring and assisting, Kane has shown his entire range of passing while playing as a number ten behind Nicolas Jackson. The former Spurs striker also works hard out of possession, making challenges near his box to set up counterattacks.
Considering there are no signs of decline in form or drop in fitness levels, it is safe to say Kane has several years left at the top level. Bayern also plan to have him at the club as long as possible.
According to SportBild’s Tobi Altschaffl (via iMiaSanMia), Bayern are planning to open contract talks with Kane in February once the release clause in his contract expires in January. Die Roten believe Kane can continue to play at the top level since his game doesn’t exclusively rely on his physicality. He is an exceptional reader of the game, and his technique is one of the best in the world.
Kane is also content with life in Munich
Kane is expected to return to the Premier League at some point in his career. The English forward has been linked with Spurs and Manchester United. However, Kane has no immediate plans to leave Munich. He is content with the sporting project at Bayern.
The 32-year-old also enjoys a very good relationship with Vincent Kompany. He recently admitted that Kompany helped take his game to the next level. Kane won the first trophy of his career in Munich. He remains hungry to achieve more success in the Bavarian colours.
Kane helped Bayern win the Bundesliga title last season. The English forward has certainly set his eyes on the Champions League. Die Roten are the early-season favourites for European glory as they look solid in defense and attack. The Bavarian faithful would like to see Kane bring European glory back to Allianz Arena and commit his future to the club.
