Benjamin Pavard became the latest first-team player to leave Bayern Munich this summer. The French defender completed a move to Inter Milan on Wednesday. Pavard is unlikely to be the last senior player to leave Bavaria as interest continues to grow from England in Ryan Gravenberch.
According to Bild’s Christian Falk, Bayern are bracing for an offer from Liverpool for Gravenberch. The Merseyside club is working on a deal to sign the 21-year-old midfielder permanently from Die Roten. Gravenberch is also open to leaving Bavaria to get consistent playing time.
The Athletic in the UK also reported on Wednesday that Liverpool are holding talks with Bayern to understand the parameters of the deal. Manchester United are also interested in Gravenberch, but a move to Liverpool is looking more likely for the Dutch international.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Gravenberch since the end of last season. They reportedly held talks with the Dutch midfielder at the end of the season. The 21-year-old midfielder wants to succeed in Bavaria, but he is open to leaving the club if there are no assurances over game time this season.

Thomas Tuchel is reportedly open to Gravenberch’s departure, provided a new midfielder arrives before the end of the transfer window. The Merseyside club faces a race against time to complete a deal for the young midfielder. Manchester United are focussing on a deal to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina. The Red Devils may come back for Gravenberch if a move for Amrabat doesn’t materialize.
Meanwhile, Bayern are also working on a deal to sign Joao Palhinha from Fulham. The Portuguese midfielder is the top target for Die Roten and Tuchel to strengthen the defensive midfield position. The record Bundesliga champions will need funds raised from Gravenberch’s departure to make a big bid for Palhinha,
