The last summer transfer window was monumental for Bayern Munich. There was significant squad upheaval as Die Roten looked to bring in players that would match their short and long-term visions. Moreover, the Bavarian club also ended up parting ways with Robert Lewandowski after eight successful seasons.
The Polish striker sealed a move to FC Barcelona before the start of the pre-season tour in July. It was a record sale for Bayern as they managed to get €50 million for the 34-year-old striker. It was a good deal for all parties involved, especially Die Roten.
Apart from Lewandowski, Bayern made a decent profit on a few fringe players in the squad. The money raised from sales helped Die Roten to balance the books and improve the quality of the team by signing five players.
The upcoming summer transfer window will not see so many departures at Bayern. In the past few days, Kingsley Coman was subject to speculation. The French winger’s future was questioned since he has not been starting games consistently for Julian Nagelsmann this season.
However, Sky Sports in Germany have confirmed that Die Roten has no plans to part ways with Coman in the summer. The French winger will not be involved in any swap deals for other targets. The only way Die Roten’s mind will be changed if a club comes up with a nine-figure fee for Kingsley Coman.
News #Coman: New agent and many rumours about possible swap deals (Leão) … The board has NO intention to give him away in summer. Internally it is said that he is the best winger when he is fit. Willingness to talk - if at all - for offers around €100m! @SkySportDE 🇫🇷 pic.twitter.com/r4i8fhDJ1g

It makes no sense to part ways with Coman in the near future. He has been a quality player for Bayern in the past few seasons. The French international has finally managed to achieve consistency and efficiency in his performances. Rekordmeister fought hard to convince him last year for a contract renewal.
Coman remains a vital part of Naglesmann’s squad at Bayern. He made a very good impression when he came off the bench against FC Koln on Tuesday. The French international is set to start against Eintracht Frankfurt later today, which underlines his importance in the squad. As long as he remains fit, Kingsley Coman will remain a pivotal player for Rekordmeister.

Benjamin Pavard is the only possible big departure for Bayern in the summer. The French defender has less than 18 months left on his deal. He recently expressed his desire to explore other opportunities. If Bayern fails to reach an agreement with him for a new contract, he will be on his way out from the club in the summer.
