Bayern is currently the in-form team across all top leagues in Europe. They are currently unbeaten in 13 games across all competitions, which included 12 wins. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has been one of the big reasons for Bayern’s resurgence in the last six weeks.
The Cameroon striker has become a focal point for Die Roten in the final third. Along with scoring 11 goals across all competitions, Choupo-Moting’s linkup play has benefited other forwards in the final third. He has managed to shrug off defenders and bring other forwards into play whenever Die Roten uses him as a target man.
Cameroon is in a difficult group with Brazil, Serbia, and Switzerland. They are not the current favourite to win the group, but Choupo-Moting’s red-hot form can definitely propel them into the next round.
