Jamal Musiala

Jamal Musiala has been one of the best young players in Europe this season. The youngster has thrived under more responsibility at Die Roten after the departure of Robert Lewandowski. He has taken up the mantle of scoring regularly for the German Champions this season.

In a high-scoring campaign for Die Roten in the Bundesliga, Jamal Musiala scored nine goals in the first-team squad. He is currently averaging 2.6 shots per game for Bayern in the Bundesliga. The youngster has caused havoc in the final third by dribbling in the tight spaces. Apart from improving his all-around play across the pitch, Musiala has also become efficient in front of the goal. Musiala was an impact substitute for Germany during Euro 2020, but he is expected to feature in the starting XI during the World Cup in Qatar. Hansi Flick is expected to play him in the attacking midfield role and form a strong partnership with Thomas Muller behind the striker.

If Germany ends up going deep in the competition, Musiala is expected to contribute heavily to the team. He thrived under Hansi Flick during his debut season at Bayern, so Jamal Musiala has ideal conditions to announce himself on the international stage during the World Cup.
