Apart from strengthening the squad adequately, Bayern Munich has been excellent at getting good offers for their fringe players. The Bavarian club is expected to part ways with three more players before the end of the transfer window.

Joshua Zirkzee is one of these three players that currently don’t feature in the plans of Julian Nagelsmann at Die Roten. The Dutch forward has only one year left on his current deal, so Bayern is open to sanctioning a permanent transfer. Zirkzee is not short of offers or interest as another Bundesliga club enquires about him.

According to Bild, Augsburg has registered interest in Zirkzee and enquired about a transfer. The defending Bundesliga champions want a fee between €15-20 million for the Dutch forward. Augsburg faces an uphill challenge in completing this transfer since there is significant competition from VfB Stuttgart and Premier League clubs.

Fulham had registered concrete interest in the Dutch forward a week ago. Reports in England and Germany suggested that two clubs have held talks regarding a transfer, while Joshua Zirkzee is also entertaining the idea of moving to the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Stuttgart considers Zirkzee as an ideal replacement for Sasa Kalajdzic. They will move for the Dutch striker if Kalajdzic ends up leaving in the coming days. The Austrian striker has been heavily linked with a move away from Stuttgart this summer as he entered the final 12 months of his contract.

Bayern will definitely try to include a buy-back and sell-on clause in the deal for Zirkzee. The Dutch forward shone for Anderlecht last season, so there is a good chance that he will prosper and develop with regular playing time. Die Roten can bring him back if he ends up becoming a prolific goal-scorer.

Zirkzee is also eager to seal a permanent transfer soon since his chances of playing at Bayern next season are minimal. He was an unused substitute in the DFL Supercup against RB Leipzig and the first Bundesliga game of the season against Eintracht Frankfurt. The Dutch forward missed the game against Wolfsburg on Sunday due to illness. After getting his career back on track last season, Joshua Zirkzee needs to get out of Bavaria before the end of the transfer window.

Next. Three takeaways from 2-0 win against Wolfsburg. dark

Meanwhile, Tanguy Nianzou is closing on a move to Sevilla. The French defender will leave Bavaria on a permanent deal, but Bayern will have a buy-back and sell-on clause. Bouna Sarr is also expected to leave Die Roten before the end of the transfer window.
