Will Mane score in the third consecutive game?

Bayern has scored 11 goals in the first two games of the season against tricky oppositions. The Bavarian club has been good to watch in the final third, going for the kill from the word go. Most importantly, the front four is much more fluid than it has been in the last eight seasons, which creates a headache for the opposition.

Sadio Mane has been in the heart of Bayern’s fluid front four during the last two games. He has been dropping deep to linkup play when the wide players are making runs off him. The Senegalese forward has also been efficient in making runs himself while operating as a number nine.

Along with doing the basics right for a false nine/striker, Mane also showed his finishing prowess in both games. The Senegalese forward showed great awareness in the box to finish sweeping moves from Die Roten.

Mane has been a constant threat in the final third for Bayern against Leipzig and Frankfurt. With home fans behind him, Mane will be aiming to score the third game in a row and maintain a perfect start to life in Bavaria. The Senegalese forward has the knack for scoring on big occasions, so there is a significant chance of him finding the net in his first home game at Bayern.
