The Bundesliga action returns to Allianz Arena on Sunday after two months. Bayern Munich will be looking to make it three wins in a row when they host Wolfsburg on Sunday. Die Roten needs to win on Sunday to move back to the top of the points table.

Bayern enjoyed a perfect start to the new Bundesliga campaign last weekend. They managed to smash Eintracht Frankfurt in the first game by scoring five goals in the first half. The defending champions eventually won their first away game of the Bundesliga campaign by a scoreline of 6-1.

Apart from the win against Frankfurt, Bayern also clinched a 5-3 win against RB Leipzig in DFL Supercup at the start of August. Julian Nagelsmann’s men have been on fire in the final third, scoring goals for fun and putting the opposition on the back foot from the word go. With the home crowd behind them, a similar outcome is very much possible on Sunday.

Niko Kovac will be returning to Allianz Arena for the first time since leaving the head coach role in 2019. The Croatian head coach was appointed as the new manager of the first team at Wolfsburg in the summer. Wolfsburg will be searching for their first win of the season on Sunday as they were held for a 2-2 draw by Werder Bremen on matchday one. Let us look at the three things to watch out for Bayern on Sunday in their first home game of the season.
