Jamal Musiala cementing a place in starting XI

After a solid performance from attacking players against RB Leipzig in DFL Supercup last weekend, Julian Nagelsmann decided to stick with the same front four against Eintracht Frankfurt. The German coach was rewarded for his decision as all four forwards were involved in five goals.

The pick of the attacking quartet was Jamal Musiala. After doing a good job in the midfield last season, Musiala has started the new season brilliantly in a much more attacking position. The youngster was very good at receiving the ball between the lines and shrugging off defenders with his quick feet.

Musiala also managed to score a brace in the game, which highlighted his presence of mind in the box. He is taking up very good scoring positions near the goal, which will help him in improving his productivity. The youngster had four shots on target and made two key passes against Frankfurt.

The performances from Jamal Musiala against RB Leipzig and Frankfurt suggest that he is not going to be out of the starting lineup anytime soon. It is going to be a big season for Musiala, and he has made the best possible start to cement his place in the starting XI.
