The wheels have been set into motion by Bayern Munich to replenish the attack of the first team. They have added Sadio Mane to the squad this summer, with more additions may take place before the end of the transfer window. Further additions will depend on what happens with Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry in the coming weeks.

Gnabry has been involved in long-drawn negotiations over a contract extension with Die Roten. The German winger has reportedly rejected the last improved offer from Bayern. He is expected to make a definite decision on contract renewal when he returns from vacation.

Rekordmeister will be open to listening offers for Gnabry if he rejects the contract offer on the table. The Bavarian club is in no mood to lose the 26-year-old forward on a free transfer next summer. Die Roten could receive an offer from Italy later this window if Gnabry declines the contract offer.

According to Calciomercato, Juventus is interested in signing Gnabry. The Italian club is closely following the contract situation of the German winger. There will be more clarity on Gnabry’s situation when he returns to Sabner Strasse next week. Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic is optimistic about a positive conclusion to the contract talks with Serge Gnabry.

Juventus will face competition from various top clubs in Europe if Gnabry is put on the market by Rekordmeister. Real Madrid and Arsenal have been linked with a move for the German forward, while Manchester United has been recently reported as the latest club to show interest in him.

Gnabry has been one of the standout performers for Die Roten in the past three seasons. The German winger can play in all positions across the front three. He has contributed to at least ten goals in each of the last three seasons. Moreover, his work rate is second to none in the current Bayern squad.

Moreover, losing Gnabry in the same summer when Robert Lewandowski is agitating for a transfer is not ideal. It does look like the Polish striker will get his wish of joining Barcelona as the Spanish club is slowly getting closer to Die Roten’s evaluation. The Bavarian club should do everything possible to extend Gnabry’s deal.

Meanwhile, Jann-Fiete Arp has left Bayern to join Holstein Kiel on a permanent transfer. The Bavarian club reportedly terminated his contract to allow him to join Kiel as a free agent. Die Roten will have a sell-on clause as part of this deal.
