Bayern Munich set to miss out on PSG starlet
The last few windows have seen Bayern Munich signing top-quality French talent for the first team. The Bavarian club has signed four French defenders in the last three windows to overhaul the defensive department of the senior squad.
In the past couple of months, it has been widely reported that Bayern is eager to sign a highly-rated French defender for their youth teams. However, Paris Saint-Germain is not keen on losing another emerging talent to the German club.
According to Foot Mercato, PSG is determined to reject offers from Bayern for El Chadaille Bitshiabu. The 16-year-old defender has been heavily linked with a move to Bavaria. However, PSG is in no mood to entertain offers. The French club has the leverage to adopt such a strict stance since the youngster has two more years left on his current deal.
PSG will be particularly keen to avoid a youngster joining Die Roten. The German club had managed to sign Nianzou Kouassi from the French club on a free transfer in 2020. PSG was reportedly annoyed by this transfer as Nianzou was very highly rated by them. He had already made the senior debut for PSG under Thomas Tuchel.
Die Roten will have to look for other options to add a center-back to the youth team. El Chadaille Bitshiabu would have likely played for the U-19 team after arriving in Bavaria. If the interest is too concrete in the defender, Rekordmeister may wait for two years to get him on a free transfer.
Meanwhile, Rekordmeister is set to lose Kenan Yildiz to FC Barcelona in the summer transfer window. The Spanish club is holding negotiations to complete a deal for the young attacking midfielder. Die Roten is eager to keep the youngster, but his current deal is set to expire at the end of the season.

In terms of incomings, the Bavarian club is working on two big deals for the first team. They are holding talks with Ajax to sign Ryan Gravenberch. The Dutch youngster will replace Corentin Tolisso in the current squad and add more quality to the midfield department.
Along with Gravenberch, Rekordmeister is also negotiating with Noussari Mazraoui for a summer transfer. The Moroccan full-back is available on a free transfer as his deal at Ajax comes to an end in June. Die Roten is expected to make three signings in the summer. The Bavarian club will also try to add more talent to the youth teams when the transfer window opens in June.
