Bayern Munich: Predicted XI in home clash against Gladbach
Bayern Munich will have enough quality in midfield and attack
Leon Goretzka will not be available for the game against Gladbach due to a muscle injury. The German midfielder missed the last few games in December due to this injury, so there is no point in rushing him back despite the lack of personnel.
Marc Roca and Jamal Musiala flourished as midfield pairing during the wins against Stuttgart and Wolfsburg before the winter break. They will be keeping their place in the starting XI. Roca will be shielding the defense, while Musiala will be the creative player in the center of the park.
In the final third, Rekordmeister will have Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller in the squad against Borussia Monchengladbach. Lewandowski will be leading the attack, while Muller will be able to play in his preferred number ten role.
The other attacking players supporting Lewandowski and Muller will be Serge Gnabry and Marcel Sabitzer. Gnabry ended the year strongly with a hattrick against Stuttgart, so he will be looking to maintain the good form on Friday. Sabitzer’s versatility will be very handy in such a situation as he can play in wide areas. Nagelsmann doesn’t have his best XI for Friday, but this team has enough in it to clinch victory against Gladbach.
