Hansi Flick signs off with Bundesliga title

In a short stint as the full-time head coach of Bayern Munich, Hansi Flick managed to achieve what many coaches have not achieved throughout their careers. The German coach helped Rekordmeister to win every possible trophy during his stay of 18 months in Bavaria.

Hansi Flick took over the role of managing the first team when Niko Kovac was sacked midway through the 2019/20 season. The German coach managed to get an instant reaction from the players and help them to achieve the best possible results. He managed to go from caretaker coach to full-time head coach in the space of five months.

Flick helped Rekordmeister to win the second treble during the 2019/20 season. He managed to end the wait of six years for a European title by delivering some of the emphatic performances during an entire CL run. The German coach eventually went on to win the sextuple, an achievement that was scaled by Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona.

The partnership of Flick and Die Roten was ideal in terms of achieving success across all competitions. It was expected to be a long-term partnership. However, Flick decided to step down at the end of last season to take up the role of head coach at the German National Team. Considering the amazing amount of success in a very little spell, the confirmation of second league title under Flick was a memorable moment for the Bavarian faithful.
