Robert Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski is a recurring name on this list every month. The Polish striker did see his scoring streak end during October, but he still managed to score a lot of goals during the past five weeks.

The Polish striker did assist the solitary goal against Frankfurt but did have an off-day in front of the goal. It was his first league assist of the campaign. Lewandowski came back after the international break and responded immediately with a brace against Bayer Leverkusen.

The 33-year-old prolific scored in the next couple of games as Bayern comfortably coasted to victories against Benfica and Hoffenheim. Lewandowski remains the primary goal-scorer in this team, but goals were much more distributed during the victories in October.

Similar to his teammates, things didn’t go well for Lewandowski against Borussia Monchengladbach. He couldn’t get a kick against Gladbach’s defense.  The Poland international responded to the defeat with a brace against Union Berlin last weekend. With six goals in October, Lewandowski took his tally for the season to 19. He is currently leading the Bundesliga charts with 12 goals. It will be a big travesty if Lewandowski is not rewarded for this astonishing consistency with the Ballon d’Or award later this year.
