Bayern could field in form attack against Barcelona

The midfield selection is set to be crucial for Die Roten to dominate the game and stop Barcelona from keeping possession for longer periods. Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich are straightforward selections for the midfield pivots. The German midfielders will have to be positionally astute to stop Barcelona’s exciting midfielders like Frenkie De Jong and Pedri.

Thomas Muller will also have a big role to play in the number ten position on Tuesday. The German forward will not only have the duty to link up well with forwards but also disrupt the rhythm of Sergio Busquets in the center of the park. Muller is exceptional at leading the press from the front, so his role in the team on Tuesday will be one to watch.

Serge Gnabry has recovered in time to travel with the squad. The German winger has been in fine goalscoring form for club and country this season. Considering his recent form, it is a no-brainer to start him on the right flank against Barcelona.

On the left flank, Jamal Musiala will slot in after another top-class performance in the Bundesliga over the weekend. The youngster is making it hard for Nagelsmann to rotate in the final third. Robert Lewandowski has also been passed fit for tomorrow’s game, so he will lead the line for the visitors at Camp Nou.
