The Champions League football returns this week as Bayern Munich begins the campaign with a blockbuster clash against Barcelona on Tuesday. The game at Camp Nou on Tuesday will be Julian Nagelsmann’s maiden European game with his boyhood club.

Die Roten is slowly getting back to their best after a stuttering pre-season. Nagelsmann’s men have won five games in a row across all competitions. The latest victory was particularly impressive as they hammered four goals past RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Barcelona had much more time to prepare for the game against Die Roten. The Spanish club had no league game over the weekend as the clash against Sevilla was postponed. The Catalan club has enjoyed a steady start to the season with seven points in three La Liga games.

In terms of team news for Die Roten, Nagelsmann has included Kingsley Coman and Corentin Tolisso in the matchday squad. The French duo had missed the game against Leipzig due to minor injuries. Meanwhile, Serge Gnabry and Robert Lewandowski have also recovered in time to be part of the travelling squad. Let us look at the possible starting XI for the big game at Camp Nou on Tuesday.
