Jamal Musiala
After enjoying a productive debut season with Bayern, Jamal Musiala has started the second season in the best possible way. The youngster started the season on the bench. By the end of August, Musiala had forced Nagelsmann to hand him a place in the starting XI by delivering good performances from the bench.
Musiala came off the bench against FC Koln and provided an assist for one of the two goals in the second half. The youngster was a constant threat in the final third against Koln. He also had promising cameos in earlier games against Dortmund and Gladbach.

Nagelsmann rewarded Musiala’s performances by starting him against Bremer SV in DFB Pokal. The youngster repaid the faith of the manager by scoring a brace in the game. Musiala was again on the scoresheet against Hertha Berlin as Nagelsmann gave him the first Bundesliga start of the season last Saturday.
Musiala enjoyed a lot of success last season as he signed a new deal at the club. He was also subject to tug of war between Germany and England for his international allegiance. The youngster eventually chose Germany and featured in Euro 2020. August has given a teaser of things to come from Musiala this season as he looks to add more goals to his game.
