The next 24 hours are set to be frantic across Europe as clubs look to complete transfers. Bayern Munich is also looking to sort departures for making space for potential arrivals. Corentin Tolisso is one of the few players at Die Roten that could be playing at a different club from next month.

According to Calciomercato, Tolisso has been offered to AS Roma by one intermediary. The Italian club is interested in the players, but his wages could turn out to be a stumbling block for this transfer to get over the line.

Tolisso has currently entered the final 12 months of his contract in Bavaria. The German club currently has no intention to extend his contract, so Tolisso could end up leaving on a free transfer next season. Few reports this summer has suggested that Die Roten is open to offers close to 10 million for the French international.

Roma is not the only club interested in Tolisso in Serie A. Earlier this summer; Juventus had reportedly made contact to explore the signing of the French midfielder. The Turin-based club could make a late offer as the latest reports suggest that one more midfielder could be signed even after completing the transfer of Manuel Locatelli from Sassuolo.

More from Bayern Strikes

Tolisso was also subject to interest from West Ham United, while Manchester United were rumoured to be interested in the midfielder during the past couple of seasons. The Frenchman will have more suitors next summer if he decides to run down his contract.

Sabitzer’s arrival may force Tolisso to look for a move this summer

Die Roten finally completed the signing of Marcel Sabitzer on Monday. The Austrian midfielder’s arrival from RB Leipzig may force Tolisso to look for a new club in the next 24 hours. The Frenchman could see his game time significantly reduced after the signing of Sabitzer.

Tolisso enjoyed a good start to his career in Bavaria after becoming the club’s record transfer in 2017. He provided goals from midfield. However, injuries hampered his next few seasons in Bavaria. The serious knee ligament injury in 2018 meant that Tolisso never got back to the performance levels of his debut campaign. He is currently behind Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka in the pecking order at Die Roten.

The German Champions will be more than happy to get a fee for Tolisso this summer. They have already signed a replacement in Sabitzer. The French midfielder will also benefit from a change of scenery if he manages to secure a deadline day move.
