After an unusual pre-season, Bayern Munich is back on the right track as they gained momentum by two crucial victories in the last week. The defending Bundesliga champions will be looking to make three wins in a row when they travel away to Bremer SV for the DFB Pokal clash.

Julian Nagelsmann tasted his first bit of silverware as manager of Bayern last week against Dortmund in DFL Supercup. The German manager enjoyed the first league win of the season in a frantic 3-2 win against FC Koln on Sunday. He will be looking to open his account in Pokal on Wednesday.

Rekordmeister will be looking to give fringe players an opportunity in Wednesday’s game against Bremer SV. Nagelsmann has confirmed that Manuel Neuer, Robert Lewandowski, and Leon Goretzka are rested for this game. Kingsley Coman is yet to recover from a knock, while Marc Roca and Lucas Hernandez continue to recover from their respective injuries.

Sven Ulreich is in line to make his second debut for Die Roten on Wednesday. In front of Ulreich, Nianzou Kouassi and Niklas Sule is likely to form the defensive pairing. Josip Stanisic will continue in the right-back position, while Omar Richards could make his competitive debut for Die Roten against Bremer SV.

In the absence of Goretzka, Corentin Tolisso is likely to get an opportunity from the start on Wednesday. The Frenchman left a good impression during his second-half cameo against Dortmund. Tolisso will partner Joshua Kimmich in the center of the park.

Jamal Musiala will slot in the number ten role to replace Muller after delivering a very good performance against Koln. Nagelsmann had nothing but praise for the youngster as he grabbed one assist in the second half on Sunday. Musiala will be looking to make a case for starting role in the Bundesliga by delivering a good performance against Bremer SV.

Leroy Sane had a torrid outing against Koln. The German winger was booed by fans at Allianz Arena due to poor performance, and he was eventually replaced at half-time. Sane will be looking to make amends when he starts on the left in the DFB Pokal clash on Wednesday.

Fresh from his brace against Koln, Serge Gnabry will be looking to add to his tally when he starts on the right flank against Bremer SV. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting will lead the attack in the absence of Lewandowski on Wednesday.
