With only one month left in the transfer window, Bayern Munich has a lot to do in terms of arrivals and departures. The German Champions will be looking to complete departures to make space for new signings. Corentin Tolisso is one of the few senior first-team players that could leave Bavaria in August.
There have not been concrete offers for Tolisso yet, but Juventus remains in contention to sign him. According to Calciomercato, Juventus continue to monitor the situation of Tolisso. The Italian club had previously initiated contact to explore the transfer of Tolisso. Juventus will move for him in case they fail to sign top target Manuel Locatelli.
Tolisso has been linked with a move away from Die Roten in the last two summer transfer windows. However, the departure of Thiago Alcantara last summer made sure that Die Roten kept Tolisso at the club. With one year left on his contract, Bayern needs to cash in this summer to reinvest in other signings.
The French international has endured rotten luck with injuries after enjoying a tremendous debut season in the Bundesliga. He missed an entire campaign due to a serious knee injury in 2018/19. Since returning from his injury, Tolisso has never got a run in the starting XI to get back to his best.

Tolisso was subject to interest from Manchester United in the past. It will be intriguing to see whether the Red Devils will come back for him since the future of Paul Pogba is uncertain. Die Roten will be hoping for a bidding war to get a significant fee for Tolisso. However, the contract situation will make sure that the entire transfer fee paid for the Frenchman in 2017 will not be recouped.
Earlier this month, L’Equipe had confirmed that Rekordmiester hopes to get €20 million for Corentin Tolisso. The departure of Tolisso will vacate a place in midfield and allow Die Roten to sign a new midfielder. The German Champions reportedly have a midfielder as the priority position for the rest of the summer transfer window.
Corentin Tolisso is currently sidelined after testing positive for coronavirus. The French midfielder will not be available for the start of the Bundesliga campaign. In the most likely scenario, Tolisso could secure a transfer late in the window.
Meanwhile, Torben Rhein is ready to stay in Bavaria and get more playing time in the first team after impressing Julian Nagelsmann in pre-season games. The youngster could get decent playing time next season if the German club fails to sign a new midfielder.
