Bayern Munich will be looking to sort futures of fringe players before the start of the season. Mickael Cuisance is one of the few young players that face an uncertain future in Bavaria. The French midfielder has already reported for pre-season training, but Bayern Munich might have found a suitor for him.

According to Webaslan, Galatasaray is interested in signing Cuisance from Die Roten. The Turkish club has already held talks with the club, but Cuisance wants to play in the top five leagues of Europe. It remains to be seen whether he changes his mind as the window progresses.

Cuisance reportedly wants to give himself a second chance in Die Roten after a tough loan spell at Marseille. The French club decided against making the transfer permanent as Cuisance struggled to get consistent playing time in Ligue 1.

After showing great promise at Borussia Monchengladbach, Cuisance has struggled in the last two seasons. He was not getting adequate game time in his first season at Bavaria as Hansi Flick stuck to a fixed lineup during the treble-winning campaign.

More from Bayern Strikes

Cuisance was desperate to get playing time, so he agreed to a permanent move to Leeds United last summer. However, the transfer fell through at the last moment, and Cuisance found himself in an awkward situation before the deadline day. The German Champions arranged a loan move, but it didn’t work out for the player.

The 21-year-old midfielder needs to make the correct decision about his next move. He will struggle to get game time in Munich since there are many midfielders ahead of him in the pecking order. He needs to find a club where sufficient amount of game time will be promised and has the right environment for his development.

From Die Roten’s perspective, they would be looking for a permanent sale. The COVID-19 pandemic had made an impact on the finances of the club, so further big transfers will take place only if money is raised from departures. Cuisance is one of the few players that can bring much-needed funds for Die Roten. At the moment, it looks like a matter of when rather than if about Cuisance’s departure from Bavaria.

Earlier on Wednesday, Rekordmeister has sanctioned loan move Furth for Adrian Fein. The German midfielder also had an unsuccessful loan spell last summer. However, he will get minutes in the Bundesliga to get his development back on track.
