After the end of the season, the future of Kingsley Coman at Bayern Munich has been the talking point in the German media. The Frenchman is entering the last two years of his contract, so Die Roten is expected to tie him down to a new deal. However, this process is not going to be straightforward after Coman added Pini Zahavi to his entourage.

According to Sky Sports, Kingsley Coman is not happy at Bayern since he feels undervalued compared to other forwards. This report insists that Coman is unhappy with the contract offered by Die Roten since he will be earning less than Leroy Sane. Rekordmeister had offered a very lucrative contract to Sane when he moved to Bavaria from Manchester City last summer.

Apart from Sky Sports, RMC in France is also reporting that Coman wants to leave in summer. The French outlet also insists that Coman is not happy in Bavaria, largely due to the way Die Roten has treated him.

Various reports in Germany have suggested that Die Roten is ready to offer close to €13 million/ year gross wages to Coman. This is slightly more than what he is currently earning (€12 million/year). Coman reportedly wants close to €20 million/year to become one of the best-paid players at the club.

Rekordmeister is not going to bow down to excessive demands and show strong resolve as they did in the case of David Alaba. The German champions have reportedly stopped negotiations with the French winger, but they risk losing him in a cut-price deal next summer when he has only one year left on the contract.

Earlier this week, murmurs in German media suggested that Die Roten will be ready to listen to offers for the French forward. According to Sport1, Manchester United has touched base with Coman’s entourage. However, the English club will only move for Coman if they fail to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

Chelsea is another English club that has been linked with Coman. The German Champions reportedly want a fee close to €100 million. In the current market, Die Roten will find it difficult to get such offers for Coman. Moreover, the German club will also have to find a very good player to replace the French international, which is a difficult task this summer.

This is the third tricky contractual situation Bayern is facing in the space of 12 months. They failed to agree to new deals with Thiago Alcantara and Alaba. The German club needs to find a much more effective way of contract negotiations to avoid such situations. As of now, it will be a huge surprise if Coman leaves the club due to the transfer fee demands of Rekordmeister.
