Bayern Munich will not have an upheaval in the first team during the summer, but they will be looking to move on fringe players this summer. Along with making space for new arrivals, Die Roten also needs money for new signings through departures.

According to SportBild, Bayern could sell up to five players during the summer transfer window. The German Champions are ready to listen to offers for young players such as Mickael Cuisance, Adrian Fein, and Joshua Zirkzee. Along with this trio, Die Roten also wants to part ways with Bouna Sarr and Corentin Tolisso.

Cuisance has struggled for game time ever since moving to Bavaria from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2019. After a poor first season, Cuisance decided to leave Die Roten permanently. He was close to joining Leeds United, but the move fell through at the last minute. Eventually, the French midfielder went on loan to Marseille with an option to make the transfer permanent.

The Frenchman failed to play regularly at Marseille. After the arrival of Jorge Sampaoli at Marseille, things were looking good for few weeks for Cuisance. However, he was not selected in the final few matchdays of the squad. Marseille is not going to take up the option to sign him permanently.

More from Bayern Strikes

Adrian Fein also had a poor loan spell last season like Cuisance. PSV Eindhoven notified Die Roten at the end of the season after he struggled to get regular playing time in Eredivisie. Fein has one year left on his contract, so Rekordmeister will be looking for a permanent transfer instead of a loan deal.

Joshua Zirkzee had a difficult season. He struggled to get playing time at Die Roten in the first half of the season. The Dutch forward joined Parma on loan in January. The Italian club had the option to make the deal permanent, but an injury hampered Zirkzee’s progress, and he returns to Bavaria in the summer.

Tolisso has only one year left on his contract. Since he is no longer the first-choice midfielder at the club, the French international may look for a move away from Bavaria in the summer. Bouna Sarr had a disappointing debut campaign since moving from Marseille in 2020. With Rekordmeister looking for a right-back, Sarr is unlikely to get playing time next season.

These five players are unlikely to fetch enormous transfer fees, but they could collectively fund one transfer for Die Roten. As per the latest reports in Germany, one winger and right-back is on the club’s wishlist for this summer after confirming transfers of Dayot Upamecano and Omar Richards.
