Bayern Munich has a lot of work to do in the next 12 months regarding contract extensions of key players. The German Champions need to secure the future of numerous young players to make sure that the spine of the squad remains intact. Kingsley Coman is one of few players that should be in line for a new contract.
Die Roten is going to face tricky negotiations with the French winger. Things are going to get even complex as Coman has switched agents. According to Sky Sports, Coman has appointed Pini Zahavi as his new agent.
The French international has reportedly already rejected the first contract offer from Bayern. With two years left on his deal, the German club doesn’t have to panic as of now. However, they cannot afford to wait until next summer. Allowing Coman to get through next season without agreeing to terms for a new deal will put Die Roten in a weak position if they decide to cash in next summer.
Coman has previously insisted that he is content at the club, so Die Roten just needs to come up with an adequate offer to secure his future. The 24-year-old winger will be part of the French squad at Euro 2020, so talks are unlikely to take place in the next few weeks.

Zahavi has been working with Rekordmeister for the past two years. He represented David Alaba and Robert Lewandowski during contract talks. Die Roten managed to reach an agreement for a contract extension of Lewandowski, but they failed to resolve the future of Alaba in order to avoid disturbance to the wage structure.
Coman will no doubt attract interest from different top clubs if Zahavi decides to test waters in other big leagues in Europe. Manchester United has been credited with an interest in the Frenchman, while Chelsea was also lately linked with the winger.
Two years ago, talk about extending Coman’s contract looked like a weird idea at Die Roten. However, the last 18 months have witnessed a remarkable growth in the Frenchman’s development. He has shown much more maturity in the final third and developed a habit of scoring big goals.
Apart from Coman, Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich are other players that will be getting contract extensions in the near future. The German Champions also need to make decision regarding Niklas Sule since he will have 12 months left on his contract. Sule has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea in the past few months.
