ST, Eric Maxim-Choupo Moting — 8/10

Choupo-Moting continued to strengthen his case for a new contract at Bayern by scoring another goal against Wolfsburg. It was his second goal this week as he also found the back of the net in Paris on Tuesday.

The veteran striker showed great awareness to be at the right place in the box when Koen Casteels dropped a clanger in the box. His overall play was also decent along with holding the ball whenever the team was looking to see out pressure from Wolfsburg. Despite the poor results in the last two weeks, Choupo-Moting has a decent job in filling the void left by the best striker in the world.

Kingsley Coman came on in the 73rd minute to replace the man of the match Jamal Musiala. The Frenchman was as usual electrifying on the left flank, getting past defenders with ease. However, he didn’t manage to come with a goal or assist during his stay on the pitch.
