Bayern Munich clinch comfortable win against Wolfsburg-Player Ratings
MID, Joshua Kimmich — 7/10
Like last weekend, Kimmich was deployed in the number six position. The German midfielder was sitting deep and dictating the tempo of the game. Kimmich managed to complete 86% of his passes. He always made the right choice of pass whenever Die Roten was trying to build from the back.
Kimmich also managed to put a shift defensively when Wolfsburg was piling on the pressure. The German international managed to make three tackles and two key interceptions on Saturday. Kimmich was below par against PSG, but the performance against Wolfsburg was much more assuring. (Stats courtesy: Whoscored)

MID, David Alaba — 7/10
David Alaba had a slightly more attacking role in the midfield against Wolfsburg. Flick decided to use him as number eight rather than a six. The Austrian defender was joining up with attacking players in the final third. He often went in the left half-space or left flank whenever there was an opportunity.
Despite the change in role, Alaba delivered a satisfactory performance. His cross was spilled by Casteels that eventually lead to the second goal for Rekordmeister. With only five games left in his Bavarian career, Alaba will be looking to maintain consistency to finish the campaign with the Bundesliga title.
