Bayern Munich enters a decisive week in terms of their hopes to win the Champions League title for the second season in a row. The German Champions are currently trailing in the quarter-final tie against Paris Saint-Germain by one goal. Along with having a slender lead after 3-2 win in the first leg at Allianz Arena, PSG also has a big advantage of away goals.

Rekordmeister will have to score big in Paris and make sure that they come back home with a clean sheet to qualify for the semi-finals. Ahead of the biggest game of the season, let us look at the best possible team Hansi Flick can field on Tuesday.

Who is available for Bayern Munich?

Die Roten received positive news on the injury front over the weekend. Lucas Hernandez has recovered from a knock that he suffered against PSG last Wednesday. Meanwhile, Jerome Boateng and Kingsley Coman are also fit for this game after getting an injury scare during 1-1 draw against Union Berlin on Saturday. Niklas Sule has failed to recover from a muscle injury that he suffered in the first leg.

The biggest positive was the availability of Leon Goretzka. The German midfielder has travelled to Paris with the squad. Serge Gnabry is yet to come out of isolation, so he remains unavailable for selection. Robert Lewandowski started running on the grass this week, but he is not fit enough to play against PSG.

Predicted Starting XI for Bayern Munich

Manuel Neuer had a poor outing against PSG last weekend. The German goalkeeper will be looking to make amends for mistakes in the first leg to come back from Paris with a clean sheet. He delivered an inspiring performance against PSG in the CL final last year, so Die Roten will be looking for another inspired performance from him.

In the back four, Jerome Boateng and David Alaba are likely to be center-back pairing in Paris. The senior center-back duo has been delivering consistent performances under Flick during the last 18 months. Benjamin Pavard will slot in the right-back position, while Alphonso Davies will be called upon in the left-back role.

Die Roten may take a gamble and bring Leon Goretzka straight into the lineup. The German midfielder has been a key player for them during this season by coming up with crucial goals in big games. Goretzka will be partnering Joshua Kimmich in the center of the park against PSG.
