With the international break coming to an end, Bayern Munich has some positive news on the availability of Niklas Sule for the game against RB Leipzig. The young German defender was spotted in training with his teammates at Sabner Strasse on Tuesday.
Sule had returned to Bayern after being ruled out for all three games of Germany during the international break. The German defender was struggling with a muscle injury that had not allowed him to feature for Germany.
This is incredibly positive news for Die Roten as Hansi Flick had a big selection headache regarding the back four against RB Leipzig. Jerome Boateng and Alphonso Davies are suspended for the game against Leipzig, so Sule and Lucas Hernandez will now replace them in the lineup on Saturday.
Sule had endured an average campaign until January. Since the winter break, there has been improvement in his game, but Flick continues to stick with tried and trusted partnership of Boateng and David Alaba. Both veteran players had been rock solid throughout the treble-winning campaign.
