Mickael Cuisance doesn’t want to return to Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich has several good young players away on loan deals this season. The German champions would ideally want them to make a case for themselves in the first-team squad or the loan club pays a good fee to sign the player permanently. As of now, Mickael Cuisance falls in the second category.
Cuisance had a chaotic last summer. He was close to sealing a permanent move to Leeds United in the summer, but the transfer fell through at the last moment. At one point, it looked certain that he will stay in Bavaria. However, Marseille came for him with a loan bid in the final few days of the transfer window.
The loan move to France has not gone according to the plan for Cuisance. He struggled to make an impact on the pitch under Andre Villas-Boas. After the Portuguese manager’s dismissal, Cuisance has enjoyed mini-resurgence under new manager Jorge Sampaoli, scoring two goals in as many appearances.
Cuisance is not thinking too ahead about his future. He told media (via SportBild) last week that his primary focus is to perform well for Marseille in the remaining games this season. The Frenchman also hinted that he would like to continue at Marseille next season instead of returning to Bavaria.
"“My wish is to stay with OM.”“Now I’m slowly getting out of this difficult phase with both of my goals. I think I learned from that situation. You always have to get the positive out of it. I have a coach here that I like and who likes to play forward.”"

Considering the need for raising cash from departures and injury to Corentin Tolisso, Bayern will be hoping that Marseille will sign Cuisance permanently in the summer. The French club reportedly has the option to make the transfer permanent for €18 million.
Die Roten reportedly wants to improve the options in the center of the park this summer. Previous reports have suggested that Tolisso could have helped in raising funds for the new midfield arrival. However, the French international suffered a serious injury in February, forcing the club to rethink the transfer strategy.
Rekordmeister will have to rely on loan players to get some funds for further signings in the summer. Cuisance is an exceptionally talented young midfield, but he needs game time to keep improving. In Bavaria, he is not guaranteed to get consistent playing time, so a permanent move away from the club could benefit him.
Apart from Cuisance, Adrian Fein could be another player that could be on the departure list at Die Roten in the summer. After an impressive loan spell at Hamburg last season, Fein has struggled to get consistent playing time at PSV Eindhoven. The Dutch club has the option to make the move permanent for €10 million. Even if he fails to make this move permanent, Die Roten could command a similar fee from Bundesliga clubs for Fein.
