FWD, Leroy Sane — 8 /10
Sane continued his recent good form against Dortmund. The German winger’s while defending also deserves plaudits as he showed much more intensity to win the ball back. He started the move for Goretzka’s goal by cleanly winning the ball from Emre Can.
In the final third, Sane was threatening throughout the game. He troubled Schulz whenever he found himself in one vs one situation. The German winger delivered an inch-perfect cross for Lewandowski’s first goal. He also showed great awareness to leave the ball for the Polish striker in the build-up to the fourth goal. Slowly and steadily, Sane is getting back to his best.

FWD, Thomas Muller — 7 /10
Muller didn’t get himself on the scoresheet, but his industry in the final third helped Die Roten to pin down Dortmund in their half. There were few rusty passes here and there, but that is understandable since it was his first start in three weeks.
FWD, Kingsley Coman — 7 /10
Like Sane, Coman was also relentless in wider areas. He kept creating problems for Meunier during his stay on the pitch. The French winger’s trickery and pace helped in stretching Dortmund’s defense. Coman was unfortunate to not score his team’s third goal early in the second half. He showed great awareness to be in the right place to pounce on a rebound from Kimmich’s long-range attempt. Another promising display as Coman’s good season continues.
