Bayern Munich has completed another signing for the youth team from FC Dallas. The German Champions announced on Friday that they had signed Justin Che from FC Dallas after the young defender excelled during his trial at the club. His loan spell will expire at the end of the season.
Justin Che is going to link up with the U-19 squad during his loan spell at Bayern. If he continues to impress in the youth team, then Die Roten is likely to sign him permanently from FC Dallas. He was in Munich for trial as part of the Elite Player Development with MLS club FC Dallas.
Previously, Die Roten had signed Chris Richards on a loan deal as part of this tie-up in 2019. The young defender eventually made the move permanent after impressing at the youth level in Munich. The youngster worked with the reserves for one season and trained with the first team on few occasions.
Richards has steadily developed at Bayern in the past two years. He made his senior debut last season. With the club rating him highly, Richards was sent on a six-month loan to Hoffenheim in January to get much needed playing time. He is likely to get a squad role in the senior team next season.

Exploring the MLS market has been useful for Die Roten in the recent past. Paying a record fee for an MLS player in Alphonso Davies turned out to be a successful move. The Canadian winger has established himself as one of the best full-backs in Europe.
The transfer market has consistently inflated in the last few years, so signing highly talented youth players can be a sound strategy to avoid paying inflated transfer fees. Die Roten has done the first step right by putting a good scouting network across the globe. The development of these young players depends on the type of plans Rekordmeister has for them.
Bayern Munich has been aggressive with recruitment at the youth level in the past few years. They are likely to be rewarded for the efforts in few years when they will be ready to bring in these talented players from the reserves into the first team.
The German Champions do need to improve loan structure to facilitate the development of young players. Having strong cooperation with a competitive European club can help Die Roten to improve their youth structure and consistently integrate young players in the squad.
