DM, Joshua Kimmich-8/10
Kimmich occupied the defensive midfield role in the 4-1-4-1 formation. The midfielder had a strong performance that featured some great passing. In the fifth minute, Kimmich intercepted a pass that led to a high-quality scoring chance for Leroy Sane. Another great moment was in the 24th minute when Kimmich delivered a perfect pass to Coman that set up a scoring opportunity. In total, six of Kimmich’s seven long ball passes reached their intended target.
MID, Serge Gnabry-7/10
It was a 72-minute appearance for Gnabry that featured just one shot recorded. His only scoring opportunity was in the 47th minute when his shot was saved by the Hertha Berlin goalkeeper. Gnabry did well at times to get back and help defensively as he registered two interceptions and one clearance.
MID, Thomas Muller-7/10
Muller registered the assist on Coman’s first-half goal to pick up his 10th assist of the Bundesliga season. After his assist, Muller struggled to generate more opportunities as he went on to complete just 68% of his passes. It may have not been his best performance but he now has four goals and two assists in his last five appearances for Bayern.

LM, Kingsley Coman-8/10
The lone goal scorer of the match was Coman. His third goal of the season proved to be the difference. Coman was one of Bayern’s most active players offensively as he recorded four shots and two key passes. He was unlucky not to score a second in the first half. Coman sent a shot over the crossbar after being set up perfectly by Sane.
RM, Leroy Sane-7/10
Sane was not afraid to try and use his pace to cause trouble for the Hertha Berlin backline. He completed six dribbles and was fouled three times. It was no surprise to see Sane record the fastest speed out of all the players on the pitch. Despite not scoring a goal or registering an assist, it was a very good 72nd-minute performance from the winger.
