Predicted team for Bayern Munich against crunch tie against Monchengladbach.

Bayern Munich will be looking to make four Bundesliga wins in a row when they travel to Monchengladbach on Friday. The German Champions come into this game on the back of a thrilling second-half comeback victory against Mainz on Sunday.

The victory against Mainz was entertaining. It did show that this team has a lot of fight and resilience to come back from two goals deficit, but the slow starts to games will be concerning Hansi Flick. The German manager will be hoping that this issue is addressed on Friday. Here is the possible starting XI for Die Roten that may deliver complete performance and get a good result against Gladbach.

Who is available for Bayern Munich for the trip to Monchengladbach?

Bayern Munich will welcome back Kingsley Coman in the squad on Friday. The French winger had suffered a minor injury before the Christmas break. Flick didn’t risk him on Sunday, but he is now completely fit to play.

Meanwhile, Serge Gnabry is a big doubt for Friday’s game. The German winger suffered an injury against Mainz. He didn’t train with the squad this week, so it will be a surprise if he travels with the squad. Javi Martinez was not part of the squad on Sunday, but he has been spotted training with the squad since winter break ended. Nianzou Kouassi remains the only long-term absentee for Die Roten.

Predicted starting XI for Bayern against Monchengladbach

Manuel Neuer has been consistently good for Die Roten this season, but he doesn’t have many clean sheets to show for it. The German international has been vital in winning points during December, but he will be hoping to keep a clean sheet on Friday.

Die Roten is worried about Benjamin Pavard’s form this season. Flick backed the Frenchman to rediscover his best form soon during Thursday’s press match conference. Pavard should be getting an extended run in the team to get some sort of rhythm, so he should be starting on Friday.  Alphonso Davies will get the nod for the left-back role, while Niklas Sule and David Alaba will form a partnership in the heart of the defense.

Joshua Kimmich excelled in midfield and defense on Sunday. The German midfielder will continue in the center of the park on Friday. Leon Goretzka returned to action against Mainz after a brief spell on the sidelines due to injury. Goretzka and Kimmich will be starting together in the center of the park after a long time.

Gnabry is likely to be replaced by Coman in the attack, while Leroy Sane will occupy the opposite flank. After scoring a decisive goal against Mainz, the German winger should kick on now and start getting consistency in his performances. Thomas Muller will slot in the number ten role, while Robert Lewandowski will lead the line for Die Roten.
