No major injuries in the second half of the season
This is the wish that every Die Roten fan wants to be fulfilled throughout the year. However, the period after Christmas is much more pivotal as the team looks to go on a long run to clinch titles. To achieve those titles, Bayern needs all players to be fit in the second half of the season.
As of now, Rekordmeister has been without key players for a long time in Hinrunde. Alphonso Davies was out for eight weeks, while Joshua Kimmich also missed games for more than a month. Both players were pivotal for Bayern’s success last season.

Fewer injuries will help Flick to manage the workload and keep healthy competition amongst players. It also gives him much more tactical flexibility when different profiles of the same position are ready to play. Bayern fans will be hoping that they will have all players available throughout Ruckrunde, giving them the best chance to retain titles.
