FWD, Thomas Müller, 8/10

Müller registered his seventh assist of the Bundesliga season as he delivered a perfectly placed cross to Lewandowski for the opening goal of the match. The veteran attacking midfielder helped set up a few more chances in the match including a nicely placed through ball that set up Serge Gnabry with a shot in the 67th minute. Müller would finish with three key passes and two tackles.

More from Bayern Strikes

FWD, Kingsley Coman, 7/10

Coman was one of the key players for Die Roten during his stay on the pitch as he looked threatening on the right flank. His pace and trickery were creating problems for Leverkusen in the final third. One of the unfortunate occurrences in this match was the departure of Coman from the pitch in the 31st minute due to an injury. At the time of writing this, there was no update on the severity of the injury, but hopefully, he is able to return to playing after the brief winter break.

FWD, Serge Gnabry, 6/10

A goal still has yet to come for Gnabry. He has been unable to register a goal since matchday six and the drought will continue into 2021. As mentioned earlier, he came close to scoring in the 67th minute and recorded a total of two shots. Gnabry also registered two key passes and two interceptions in the victory.
