Top three players for Bayern Munich during the high scoring draw against RB Leipzig.
Bayern Munich were involved in an entertaining game on Saturday when RB Leipzig visited Allianz Arena. The German Champions twice came from behind to share points with the visitors as both sides scored three goals. Despite a disappointing result, Die Roten remains at the top of the table.
Hansi Flick will be disappointed with the defensive aspect of his team as they conceded three goals. However, there were some sparkling performances for Rekordmeister on Saturday. Here are the top three performers for Bayern on matchday ten of the Bundesliga.
Kingsley Coman
After struggling to find consistency in the last few seasons, the penny has finally dropped for Kingsley Coman. Amidst competition for places on the flank, Coman has emerged as a stronger player. He has become a game-changer for Die Roten this season.
On Saturday, Coman was lively in the final third, stretching the RB Leipzig defense through his runs and dribbling. He created all three goals by showing awareness to pick the right pass. His third assist of the game was impressive as the weight on the cross was perfect, making it easy for Thomas Muller to head it past the goalkeeper.

Thomas Muller
When things are not going the team’s way, Muller always manages to step up and deliver. He converted an important penalty on Tuesday to extend Bayern’s unbeaten run in the Champions League. Against Leipzig, he managed to score a brace to help his team to get at least one point.
Muller’s first goal summed his best qualities in the final third. The German forward is always on the move to create chances for himself. Coman found his run, and Muller cleverly slotted it past Peter Gulacsi. He was relentless throughout the game, finding pockets of spaces in Leipzig’s defense. It was a monumental performance from the veteran forward.
Jamal Musiala
Flick suffered a major blow when Javi Martinez suffered an injury in the 25th minute. The Spanish midfielder was replaced by Jamal Musiala. It was a big opportunity for the teenager since it is a high-intensity game when these two sides play each other in the Bundesliga.
Musiala showed immense composure throughout the game in the central midfield role. The 17-year-old attacking midfielder was playing further up the pitch, but he often dropped to help Leon Goretzka when the team was defending. Most importantly, he came up with yet another goal in the Bundesliga. It is a testament to Musiala’s talent and temperament that he didn’t look out of place in such a big game.
