Predicted Starting XI for Bayern Munich

Flick rotated the starting XI on Saturday, so few names will be back in the team against Lokomotiv. Alexander Nubel will have to wait for his debut in the Champions League as Manuel Neuer will continue in the goal on Tuesday.

Jerome Boateng played on Saturday, so Niklas Sule will return to the starting XI in Moscow. Sule will partner David Alaba in the heart of the defense. Benjamin Pavard will be back in the team, replacing Bouna Sarr in the right-back position. Since Davies is injured, Lucas Hernandez will have to play consistently in the left-back role.

More from Bayern Strikes

In the midfield department, Corentin Tolisso is likely to be deployed in the box to box role, replacing Leon Goretzka in the lineup. Joshua Kimmich will partner Tolisso in the center of the park. The German midfielder was in fine form against Atletico Madrid last week at Allianz Arena.

Thomas Muller has been relentless in the attacking midfield for Die Roten. Since he got the break during the international break, Muller is likely to continue playing behind the striker. Kingsley Coman will start on the left flank, while Leroy Sane gets his first start in CL on the right side of the attack. Robert Lewandowski will lead the line for the visitors.
