Match Preview: FC Bayern Munich face tricky test against Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid is a dangerous side in the knockout stages as they are set up well by Diego Simeone to get results. They managed to knock out Liverpool in the round of 16 last season but suffered a narrow defeat to RB Leipzig in the quarter-finals.

Simeone will come to Allianz Arena to stifle Die Roten and concede very less chances. They have enough quality in the attack to hurt hosts on the counter. Bayern will have to be patient since playing against a stubborn defense may lead to moving the majority of players higher up the pitch, making the team suspect on the break.

Luis Suarez is the danger man in the attack as the former Barcelona forward has been superb since arriving at the club in the summer. Joao Felix is a player to watch out for in the attack, while Yannick Carrasco can cause problems on the flank with his trickery and pace.
