David Alaba vs  Luis Suarez

Atletico Madrid decided to strengthen the strike force in the summer by signing Luis Suarez from Barcelona. The experienced Uruguayan striker had a dream start to his time at Madrid by scoring three goals in four league games.

Despite past his peak, Suarez remains a deadly striker. He can pull off some mesmerizing skills and strikes to win the game for his side single-handedly. Moreover, he is a complete striker that holds up the ball upfront and physically dominates center-backs. Suarez can also run into channels and beat the offside trap to create clear cut chances.

Flick is likely to stick with his trusted defensive partnership against Atletico Madrid. David Alaba is nailed on to start this game as he has been the go-to man in defense for the German manager. The Austrian defender delivered consistent performances in central defense since moving into this position last season.

Alaba may lack the physicality to dominate Suarez, but his positioning is astute. He will be able to nullify the potential danger from Uruguay striker through his clever positioning. Since Suarez is not as rapid as he used to be, Alaba can surely beat him in foot race if needed. The duel between two great players will be intriguing and result defining.
