Top three performers for FC Bayern Munich during 4-1 victory over Arminia Bielefeld.
A second consecutive victory in the Bundesliga was recorded by FC Bayern Munich on Saturday. They were in full control during their 4-1 triumph against Arminia Bielefeld. Courtesy of win against Arminia Bielefeld helped Die Roten to move to second position in the table.
The usual contributors had a major impact on the outcome of the fixture as Bayern received goals from Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Müller. The victory was yet another fantastic performance from Bayern from an attacking perspective.

Robert Lewandowski
Arminia Bielefeld entered this match as the only current Bundesliga club Lewandowski had yet to score against. The Polish striker wasted little time to record his first goal against the newly-promoted club. He not only scored in the 25th minute but also in first-half stoppage time as well to increase Bayern’s advantage at halftime.

Lewandowski turned provider in the second half as he provided a precision pass to give Muller his second goal of the fixture. The Polish striker was linking up with wide players in the final third. His work was eventually rewarded with an assist for Muller.
His two-goal performance now gives Lewandowski seven goals in four appearances in the Bundesliga this season. He is in terrific form and appears destined to score more goals in the coming weeks. For yet another match he was a difference-maker for Bayern as he played an instrumental role in getting the club all three points on the road against Arminia Bielefeld.
Thomas Müller
Müller provided two of the four goals scored by Bayern and assisted on another. Along with Lewandowski, the duo proved to be unstoppable against Arminia Bielefeld and they really could have scored even more goals.
This was the second appearance of the week for Müller as he also featured in the 3-0 victory over FC Duren in the DFB-Pokal. He was among the goal scorers in that match as well by converting a first-half penalty kick. Overall, it was a great week for the veteran and he will look to continue his impressive run of form in the UEFA Champions League match against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
Leon Goretzka
With Joshua Kimmich out of the lineup, Leon Goretzka stepped up to lead the way in the midfield. The German midfielder registered an assist on Lewandowski’s first goal of the match and completed 94.6% of his passes. Defensively, he was one of Bayern’s best players of the match. He led the club with four tackles and also had two interceptions. He provided a strong presence in the midfield that disrupted Arminia Belfield’s ability to retain possession.
