FC Bayern Munich injured players back on the pitch
FC Bayern Munich receives a positive injury boost during the international break.
The international break doesn’t provide respite to players this season since international games are cramped between a tight schedule. However, it was also a relief for a couple of FC Bayern Munich players as they recover from injuries during the break.
Leroy Sane and Tanguy Kouassi were the only players that were not available for the game against Hertha Berlin last weekend. The German winger suffered an injury after the 4-1 defeat against Hoffenheim. Meanwhile, Tanguy Kouassi has been on the sidelines since the last international break at the start of September.
Die Roten will be hoping this duo to return to action later this month as they started running on the pitch this week. Sane and Kouassi have been working at Sabner Strasse while other players have been on international duty.
Sane is unlikely to play next weekend, but he is likely to be fit for the Champions League against Atletico Madrid. The German winger has enjoyed a decent start to his career in Bavaria, scoring a goal on debut and grabbing two assists in the same game.

Meanwhile, Kouassi is yet to make his debut for the first team since joining the club from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer. The Frenchman is one of the best young defenders in Europe, so getting him for nothing is a big coup for Die Roten. He will have a lot of competition for playing time in the first team due to the quality of options in the central defense.
The international break is a nightmare for clubs since players are going to play three games in a very short time for their countries. Hansi Flick will be hoping that Bayern Munich players will not suffer injuries during this break as games are going to come thick and fast. Even if a player is out for three weeks, he will end up missing six games due to a tight schedule.
Flick did receive a major boost in terms of personnel at the end of the transfer window. The German Champions completed four transfers in the space of three days. Marc Roca, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, and Bouna Sarr have been training at Sabner Strasse, so they will be fit to play next week
Die Roten also granted Flick’s wish of adding a fourth winger to the squad by bringing Douglas Costa on a one-year loan deal from Juventus. The Brazilian also started training for Bayern this week, so he will be ready to make his second debut for the club next week. Rekordmeister needs luck with injuries this season to retain all the trophies they won last season and also win the Club World Cup in December.
