FC Bayern Munich is set to approve loan deals for Adrian Fein and Mickael Cuisance.

It has been an eventful few days in the transfer window for FC Bayern Munich. The German Champions have decided to add four players to the squad, meeting the demands put forward by Hansi Flick. Along with arrivals, there are likely to be few departures before the window slams shut later today.

According to SportBild, Adrian Fein is set to join PSV Eindhoven on a one-year loan deal. The German midfielder returned to Bavaria this summer after a successful loan spell at Hamburg last season. Fein was handed a new contract in January.

Meanwhile, RMC is reporting that Mickael Cuisance will be joining Marseille. The French midfielder has been subject to interest from Marseille since lockdown. His move to Leeds United failed last week, allowing Marseille to complete a loan deal with an option to buy.

Die Roten had completed the signing of Marc Roca from Espanyol on Sunday. The arrival of Roca has likely to make an impact on the future of Fein. Earlier this year, reports were suggesting that Fein will get opportunities with the first team, but he was not selected in matchday squads in the last four games, so a loan move makes sense.

More from Bayern Strikes

Meanwhile, Cuisance had almost joined Leeds United, so it was unlikely to see him integrating back into Die Roten squad. It remains to be seen whether the German Champions have inserted a buyback clause in this deal with Marseille.

The two young midfielders have the potential to be important players for Die Roten in the future. It was pivotal that they both get regular playing time this season to continue their development. Meanwhile, Joshua Zirkzee might also leave at the end of the window due to the arrival of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting on a free transfer.

Javi Martinez is also likely to stay in Bavaria. The Spanish midfielder was close to joining Athletic Bilbao, but the transfer didn’t get over the line. Barring any last-minute offer, Martinez is going to see out his contract and leave Bayern Munich next summer.

Earlier today, Die Roten announced the signing of Choupo-Moting and Douglas Costa. The Brazilian winger arrives from Juventus on a year loan deal.  Bouna Sarr from Marseille is going to be the last transfer for the European Champions as they finally get the right-back cover. Earlier this summer, Die Roten had completed the transfers of Leroy Sane, Tanguy Kouassi, and Alexander Nubel.
