Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman wants to win more trophies with the club.

Three weeks ago, Bayern Munich once again lifted the Champions League trophy, sixth in their history. The German Champions had clinched a narrow 1-0 win against Paris Saint-Germain in the final to complete another treble.

Kingsley Coman was the hero of the match. The former PSG academy graduate had scored the winner for Die Roten in the second half. Coman was the best forward on the pitch that night as his performance went from strength to strength.

It was a frustrating campaign for Coman despite scoring the most important goal of the season. He struggled to find consistency in his performances and often frustrated the Bavarian faithful with his poor end product. Moreover, he was also unfortunate with an injury in December that kept him out for a month.

Speaking to Sky Sports this week (via TZ), Coman expressed his happiness about scoring the most important goal of his career in Lisbon. However, the Frenchman is not getting carried away with that goal. He admitted that the team is hungry to achieve more success as there is a possibility of winning six trophies next campaign.

"“I’m not a legend yet. Maybe someday, but one goal is not enough. I have to keep playing well and scoring a lot of goals and then maybe one day I’ll have a song.”“We are always hungry. We always want to win. And maybe we’ll celebrate the second triple in a row.”"

The French winger will have serious competition next season in Leroy Sane. Coman once again reiterated that he is not worried about competition for places in the team. The French winger will be hoping to enjoy a successful campaign and make it to the Euros squad. Due to injury and poor form, Coman missed out on a place in the French team during the 2018 World Cup. He would like to avoid a similar situation next summer.

Kingsley Coman had competition this campaign in the form of Ivan Perisic and Philippe Coutinho. Both players have returned to their parent clubs. Die Roten confirmed this week that they will not be signing  Perisic permanently after seeing their first bid rejected for the winger.

Die Roten will need a deep squad next season, so gametime will not be an issue for players. They will be participating in the Club World Cup during December. Moreover, this season will see fixtures cramped up in less number of days due to a delayed start.

The German Champions began preparations for new campaign on Friday. All international players also reported for first-team training. Hansi Flick is still hoping to add at least two more players to the squad, while the likes of Thiago Alcantara and Javi Martinez will leave the club before October 5.
