Player of the season- Robert Lewandowski
Every player has a big role to play when a team wins treble. Many players need to have an outstanding campaign to propel the team across three competitions. At Bayern, it was a similar case, various players enjoyed outstanding campaigns, but none was better than Robert Lewandowski.
The Polish striker got the ball rolling from the first game of the season. Even when the team was going through a difficult phase, Lewandowski kept on finding the back of the net consistently. He decided to end speculation about his future by signing a new deal in August.

Lewandowski established himself as the best forward in Europe by scoring every weekend. He ended the campaign with 55 goals across all competitions. He also created ten goals for his teammates. In the Bundesliga, he enjoyed his best goalscoring campaign by finding the net 34 times.
It was a record-breaking campaign for the Poland international. He silenced his critics in Europe by scoring 15 goals in 11 games. Lewandowski might be disappointed that he will not lift Ballon d’Or this year since the award has been cancelled. However, Europe and Bavarian football know that he has been by far the best player in the 2019/20 campaign.
