Match Preview: Bayern Munich on the verge of history against PSG
Predicted Starting XI for Bayern Munich
There could be a minor change in the starting lineup on Sunday due to the availability of Pavard. Flick will stick with his usual 4-2-3-1 lineup against Paris-Saint Germain. However, one change in defense and midfield should be expected after an average performance against Lyon.
Manuel Neuer was at his best on Wednesday as he made a string of brilliant saves. The German goalkeeper will be looking to lift a second CL title on Sunday when he starts in the goal. Pavard is likely to slot in the right-back position, while Alphonso Davies will occupy the left side of the defense. Jerome Boateng and David Alaba will form the partnership in central defense against the French Champions.

Thiago Alcantara had a poor outing against Lyon. The Spaniard could be sacrificed to get more solidity in the midfield against PSG. Joshua Kimmich will move back in the midfield, sitting in the front of the back four and provide more security to the defense. Leon Goretzka impressed against Lyon, so he is likely to continue in the box to box midfield role against PSG.
The selection in the attack is going to be straightforward on Sunday. Ivan Perisic is likely to get the nod ahead of Kingsley Coman on the left flank. Meanwhile, Serge Gnabry will start on the right side of the attack, while Thomas Muller will operate between the lines. Robert Lewandowski will lead the line for the German Champions.
