Robert Lewandowski vs Clement Lenglet

At Allianz Arena last weekend, Robert Lewandowski once again showed why he is the best number nine in the world this season. The Polish striker scored twice and set up the other two goals against Chelsea. He also managed to score in the first leg at Stamford Bridge in February.

Lewandowski currently has 53 goals to his name across all competitions. He might have lost the golden boot award to Ciro Immobile, but his overall goal tally has been best in Europe. Lewandowski is scoring goals for fun and working hard for the team by doing the defensive work and create chances for other forwards, making him a complete number nine.

More from Bayern Strikes

Gerard Pique has been a standout defender for Barcelona in the past decade. However, this season Clement Lenglet has outshone the Spanish center-back. Lenglet has been one of the standout central defenders in La Liga. He can play out from the back efficiently, and his sound positioning helps him to get the better of all strikers.

Lewandowski has been causing all sorts of problems for defenders throughout the campaign. The Pole will be looking to add Lenglet to the list when the two face off on Friday. Lenglet has impressed during his time at Barcelona, but Friday is going to be one of the biggest tests of his career.
