Mixed outing for forwards
FWD, Kingsley Coman — 7/10
After delivering good performances in the past couple of weeks, Kingsley Coman endured a quiet outing against Leverkusen. He started the game on a promising note by delivering a dangerous cross for Lewandowski. However, he had very less impact during his stay on the pitch. He did provide the width consistently but mustered tame shots on target.

FWD, Thomas Muller — 7/10
Similar to Coman, Thomas Muller also had an off day against Leverkusen. The German forward was industrious in the final third, but his final ball was letting him down on numerous occasions. He had a big chance to double the lead in the first half when Gnabry’s powerful shot was parried in his path. However, one cannot fault his work ethic as he lead the pressing for Die Roten.
FWD, Serge Gnabry — 8/10
Serge Gnabry finally got a good game under his belt. The German forward has been struggling to consistently find the back of the net since football returned in May. He showed calmness to convert the chance created by Kimmich in the first half. Gnabry was making dangerous runs in the box throughout the game. A promising sign for Flick ahead of important European games next month.
