Team News for Bayern Munich

There was some positive news on the injury front for Bayern this week. Thiago Alcantara has started training on the pitch, but he is unlikely to be involved against Wolfsburg. The Spanish midfielder is eyeing the cup final against Leverkusen to make his return.

Philippe Coutinho is set to be part of the squad travelling to Wolfsburg. The Brazilian forward has been out of action since April due to an ankle injury. Coutinho is unlikely to start against Wolfsburg, but he will get some minutes off the bench since it is his last Bundesliga game for Die Roten.

Niklas Sule is another player who is taking giant strides towards making a return. The German defender has been out of action for more than eight months due to a serious knee injury. Sule is still not completely ready, so he is unlikely to be part of the squad on Saturday.

Corentin Tolisso started running on the pitch this week, but he still needs few weeks to complete the recovery from an ankle injury. David Alaba and Serge Gnabry have also recovered from knocks that kept him out from action against Freiburg, while Alphonso Davies will also return to the squad after serving the suspension last weekend.
